WHY T-SHIRTS?

"Over the years, I've collected enough T-shirts & sweatshirts to craft at least four queen-sized quilts, each one a tangible piece of my past that I can't let go of. Every shirt holds a specific memory, bringing to mind stories from different phases of my life. For example, the earliest one I recall depicts a smiling blonde with a metal mouth and the phrase, 'Braces are Beautiful' perfectly capturing a childhood moment.

T-shirts remain a wardrobe essential, and as I get older, I find myself increasingly drawn to the comfort of T-shirts adorned with bold statements and unique artwork.  

HOW IT BEGAN

Creativity has always been woven into my very being, a thread that has run through a lifetime of projects—from the stroke of a paintbrush to the rhythm of a sewing machine and the twist of a crochet hook. Twenty some years ago, a new world of digital design opened up to me, and I poured my artistic energy into it with enthusiasm. My career as a graphic designer for a gift wholesaler brought great fulfillment; even now, over a decade later, seeing my past creations on store shelves fills me with a quiet joy. 

After leaving the gift industry, I took a marketing position with an engineering company. Though the role offered some creative outlets, it wasn't the outlet I was used to. I’m an idea woman whose brain is constantly swirling with thoughts that won’t rest until they are brought to life or something new takes hold. Sometimes, this can be overwhelming to those around me!  I’ve been searching for the right direction and for something to really take hold, and then something did. 

I’ve always believed God sends signs—or, in this case, it was a repeated message delivered through three different people within six months: "Design t-shirts". The first mention was an idea, the second was more persistent, and the third was a resounding call I could no longer ignore.  There had to be a reason. Right?    

Supported by family and friends, I have begun this new journey. Though I sometimes doubt myself and feel overwhelmed, my passion and drive persist. I believe this is just the beginning of fulfilling my purpose. 

WHAT’S NEXT? 

This business is my solo passion project, built from the ground up with a foundation of faith and purpose. While countless ideas are waiting to be brought to life, and I'm eager to get them all onto 'digital paper,' I know it's a marathon, not a sprint. I am taking a measured and prayerful approach.

My vision is to create bold, statement T-shirts that serve as sources of faith, positivity, inspiration, and motivation. My goal is for each design to make a meaningful impact—like a subtle message in a grocery store checkout line that gives someone pause and inspires them. I envision my designs making a real-world impact.

Trends may be temporary, but God and love are always in style.
